Update the Nest Thermostat firmware and the Google Home or Nest App. If the issue persists, reboot the Nest Thermostat. If none of these work, factory reset the Nest Thermostat.
Can you merge Nest and Google Home
You'll be able to control some features of these devices with the Home app. You'll set up and control other Nest and Works with Google Home (formerly Works with Hey Google) or Works with Google Assistant devices with the Home app.
