To make your terrace less icy, you can use the same accessories that you use to protect yourself from the sun or bad weather. Have side screens, which will also act as windbreaks, try to somehow caulk the largest openings, through which the wind rushes.

If you are in a location where the prevailing winds are almost permanently blowing, you might want to consider buying clear walls. These can be closed by means of different systems, leaving no room for drafts. You can then decide to install an auxiliary heating, type parasol heating or a good old wood stove.

To enhance the effect of heat in terms of feeling, it is much easier and less expensive. You probably have the majority of the ingredients you will need somewhere in your attic, in some trunk or wardrobe. It will be adding texture, elements to accessorize your terrace.
