You want a small indoor garden at home? The terrarium is what you need and it’s also a decorative solution. There are plenty of terrarium options as long as you find the right container.

This can be a transparent vase, an old aquarium and also a large pot of pickles. We propose today to show you how to make your indoor garden with pots or glass jars that you have kept from the supermarket. This article was inspired by the creations of the Wary Meyers team.

What you need:

– an empty glass jar with a lid that screws.

– mosses or ferns like Davallia with potting soil

– a plastic bag

First of all you have to choose the right moss or fern that suits your climate and will grow at home. Grab your plastic bag and take a ride in your neighborhood and in the nearest park. Take pieces of foam and bring them home in the plastic bag. Other small green plants also grow in your neighborhood, you can take to create more diversity in your plant composition. At home, take a good look at the land you brought back, if it is clean. Remove the dead roots. Then wash your jars and remove the commercial labels. Inside the lid, put some soil and install the foam. Arrange the fern nicely in the middle of the moss. Water a little bit all. Take your jar and turn it over on the lid with the foam, watering must be sufficient at this stage. From time to time, lift the jar and water the vegetation. Your terrarium is near and you can install it anywhere in your home, provided there is some direct daylight.
