This collection of furniture by Italian designers Alexander and Matteo Bagnai exudes the raw charm of the forest. The Mountain Collection, developed for Momenti, take the tree trunks as departure.

Sawn in length or transversely, they become, in the same way, tables or seats, furniture legs or shelves. The furniture has a raw and rustic aura, though contemporary, thanks to the contrast between rough tree trunks, and refined finishing materials such as glass and steel. Nature lovers will want to equip themselves with one of these pieces.

In the collection you will find chairs, stools, ottomans, benches, tables, mirrors and floating shelves, all dedicated to transform the atmosphere of the space in which they will be placed. These furniture at first glance too special actually combine with several styles. From the rustic – chalet, to the minimalist, passing by the industrialist, these pieces mixing raw trunks, with cracks and multiple roughnesses, with glass and polished steel, and with comfortable seats and cushions, promise well to integrate.

The obsolete palaces where some photos are taken show this perfectly. Stools and table tops are not unheard of, mirrors and shelves are really the nails of the show. The mirrors, in round sections, and the shelves, cut lengthwise, once a glass plate covering the place of the cut, acquire a new aspect: as if the wood, at the place where he had been attacked, had cleared a juice which in turn would have consolidated in glass.
