Here are the famous Twin Shelves shelves in futuristic design, created by the Chilean design studio gt2P. These parametric shelves are made numerically and are based on an algorithm based on what is known in mathematics as the Voronoi diagram.
The model represents a particular decomposition of a metric space, determined by distances to a discrete set of space objects, usually a discrete set of points. This futuristic design of furniture makes it possible to individualize the variables x, y and z and gives the possibility of adapting the shape and the dimensions to the specific requirements of the customer.
