The designer borrowed a visual concept to apply it to this coffee table. Made of stainless steel and glass, this table is composed of crystals that seem to refract light and create optical effects of colored prisms. The bright rays of rainbow colors also appear thanks to another material added during the manufacturing process. The rays in fact, are not pure illusion, they are a material reality. This is the originality of the design of Maurie Novak who likes to surprise by the play between visual effect and materiality. The designer challenges us by inviting us to play the game. This futuristic design furniture tells a story. On each side, the table offers another perspective or combination of shapes and colors, just as the light-reflecting prism does. The result is both simple and amazing. The colored rays emerge from the steel frame and transform through the glass volume. They twist and intertwine, which creates a fluid effect. The mixture of colors creates a feeling of continuous movement. This coffee table is not designed to be covered with objects and trinkets, it is in itself a decorative object that deserves to be exposed in all its minimalist splendor. This futuristic design furniture yet is not pretentious and fits in all the interior styles.
