From the decoration point of view of the interior and architecture, the entrance of the house fulfills a series of functions. The empty pocket is usually a small piece of furniture that belongs to the category of storage objects for various accessories that are used outside. As we have seen in our previous articles on this kind of object, it can have various forms. Thus, for example, in older houses, where the entrances were generally larger than those in recent buildings, one can see a table serving as an empty pocket. In some of these spaces, you can still find a desk corner with storage specifically for incoming and outgoing mail, keys, etc.
