A recent graduate of Kingston University in London, Aaron Dunkerton had the ingenuous idea of turning an accessory that is so vital to the home into something both practical and aesthetic. It’s about tumble dryer. Original and playful, this clothes rack takes the form of a star when it is open but is much smaller than a traditional clothesline when it is folded.

Aaron Dunkerton gives us the opportunity to store the accessory out of sight when not in use. While our clothes are drying, we can also appreciate the style of the clothes dryer which resembles a Ferris wheel can not escape us.

Beyond aesthetics, this object is ecological. Indeed, the folding structure is made with beech plywood slats while the rods that connect them are brushed aluminum. The tumble dryer has a lot more potential than the ordinary drying rack: you can count 36 branches – 10 more than the conventional dryer, and, let’s face it, what a pleasure to contemplate your favorite jeans dry on a twelve-pointed star!
