The cottage decor is back in force, with a new chic and rustic face for mountain lovers and the landscape that goes with it. The chosen example is a cottage in Montana in the United States of America, designed by Architects Pearson Design Group with the collaboration of interior designers from Wick Design.

The chalet decor here is the perfect example of a mountain home that highlights custom spaces designed under the sign of a marriage between design and rusticity. Halfway between a nod to the past and modern comfort. A cottage must be imperatively and beautifully adapted to the strength of the northern territories, and of course it must be equipped with a fireplace to warm the long winter evenings.

The decor was built around raw materials, stone and wood. Solid wood is dominant and the furniture between the old and the modern bring surprising touches to the chalet decor. A natural colored wood everywhere and multiple bare windows to enjoy the slightest ray of sunshine that warms the interminable winter. To maintain the warmth of a cottage, it is recommended to keep retro touches. Finally, if the snow can disappear quickly the sand of the seas is still there!
