Tempest from Ellomennopee is an artist, blogger and PhD student in Great Britain. She realized an amazing DIY project, installing indoor plants hanging upside down.
She chose her bathroom because it is a place where very few green plants can survive. Hanging indoor plant pots are also a find of this student. She used shampoo lids that have a rounded tip to serve as pots. All that is needed next is rope, paint spray, a nail, a hammer and a needle to pierce the end of the cover and pass the rope. So, these DIY pots for houseplants do not come cheap and you have in the end a small indoor garden hanging in the air. The most suitable plant for this way of life is tillandry and in general the plants of the epiphyte family. These air plants do not need potting soil, do not require a lot of care and so are perfect for apartment dwellers in town. In the bathroom, they can be showered with a shower and that’s enough.
