A very original DIY suspended metal flower pot | 1/7
This hanging flower pot DIY metal is a perfect addition for your window. It is very easy to make from just a few metal pipes and string.
You could make several different colors to go with your home decor. It also makes a superb gift to offer!
The materials you would need are:
– metal pipes
– pipe cutter
-tape
-a string or a thin cable to connect the pipes
-a flower pot or a bowl
-a flower

Start by first cutting the pipes with the pipe cutter. We used copper pipes because they are very durable. Take the measurements of the flower pot or bowl that you will use to adjust the size of the pipes. Cut out 5 smaller but equal sized pieces for the base, 5 longer pieces for the middle bet and another 5 long pieces for the top.

Then cut 5 long pieces of string and begin making the base by passing 2 pieces of string through a pipe at each end of string. Continue to make the base by taking one of the stands made with the pipes and strings and connect it with another pipe using the string. Do this for the 5 pipes. Connect the last pipes with the first as on the photos.

Squeeze everything very hard. At each point of the pentagon you’ve gotten tighten both pieces with one of the middle and one of the large pieces. Repeat for each point of the pentagon.
Once all the pieces are tight, tie all the pieces into one knot and use another pipe to hang the hanging flower pot. You could now put a flower on it and hang it at the chosen place.
