The most natural form of nail is back in fashion, from what we’ve seen on the catwalks. The round nails are what we will see very often during the coming season in combination with monochrome designs. The designers are certain that this trend will last and you just have to round off your nails.

Square oval nails
The square oval shape is the other extremely popular trend for summer 2015, combined with sophisticated textures and classic patterns. The designs are monochrome or 3D with pearls and shiny elements. This is what we saw at Honor, Moschino or Day to Day.

Almond nails
Despite the fact that the almond-shaped nails have been in decline for a while, they still keep their importance in the 2015 summer nail art. Their interpretations and designs are many and varied. For example, the white and silver nail art by J. JS Lee, the glamorous designs by Betsey Johnson, the very luxurious and sophisticated look by The Blondes or the “alphabetic” design by Libertine.

Short nails
The common point between almost every trend for summer manicure is perhaps the fact that the nails are very short. This is the other specific detail for 2015. Short nails have been the focus of almost every fashion show, including the golden and white design by Jay Godfrey, the faintly colored nails by BCBG Max Azria, designs colorful and energizing by Desigual, the nude and natural look by Tess Giberson and Marissa Webb and matte black by Carmen Marc Valvo.

The trend called “Negative Space”, which means negative space, is really popular for the summer of 2015. It has been conspicuously present on the podiums of the greatest creators. The minimalist manicure all in white
Turning to versatile shades such as white, for example, is another trend that you will see a lot in the year 2015. This pure and eternal look was present at Osman – the parade that impressed with its ultra minimalist touches and classic where we observe a transition from white to beige. The white manicure was also present at Nanette Lepore, Bibhu Mohapatra, and Erin Fetherston.

3D textures, simple embellishments, jewelery on the nails – this is the trendy nail art of 2015. These daring designs were the cherry of the cake in the Ashish parades that emphasized the colors and classic touches. We also saw the ornate nails at Manish Arora, Honor, Betsey Johnson and The Blonds.
