Vessel is suspended between the walls and does not touch the ground. It is secured on both sides with stainless steel hooks that can be either concealed or left out. This modern design bathtub fills with a tap that rises from the ground.

The water consumed is evacuated from below, through a basement floor drain. A down pipe can be installed if the bathroom does not have a basement drainage system. The hammock bath is constructed of carbon fiber which has been chosen because of its strength and elasticity, which allows to carve the complex curves of the hammock shape.

Below the layers of carbon fiber is introduced a layer of polystyrene foam that serves as insulation to the bathtub, which greatly extends the duration of the hot bath. With a length of 2.7 meters, Vessel is longer than classic bathtubs. However, Splinter Works offers customers of other sizes, Already, this model allows a reduction of 20 cm for a more flexible installation. This modern designer bathtub also exists in red, blue, yellow, pink, bronze and gold.
